Marcel Veselka, tesena, Czech Republic

Marcel spent his career in software testing and currently working as a Principal SW Testing Consultant at tesena | SMART TESTING. Previously, he worked as a Test Analyst and finally moved to Test Management in complex transformation projects and core banking implementations covering mainly integration testing and performance testing. Marcel is accredited ISTQB trainer. He is also former vice-president of the CaSTB (regional ISTQB board) and co-founder of testing comunity called [pro]Test!

Jana Zientková, Česká spořitelna, Czech Republic

Jana worked shortly in the field of software development and help authoring systems, and in 2003 she started to focus on testing. She worked at Unicorn on projects for such clients as Česká spořitelna and Škoda Mladá Boleslav. Then she moved to Česká spořitelna as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist in SQA team, where she has worked so far, except for the time spent on 3 maternity leaves. She is a Certification Committee manager in CaSTB (a regional ISTQB board), and she was a Programme Manager at Czech Test 2011-2015.

Alena Buchalcevová, University of Economics, Prague, Czech Republic

Associate Professor at the Department of Information technologies at the Prague University of Economics. Her specialisation is software engineering, especially software development methodologies and software quality assurance. She is an author or co-author of 8 books, many journal articles and conference papers. Since 2012 she has been leading Software Quality Assurance Competence Centre, being a part of the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics, at the University of Economics in Prague. The aim of this competence centre is to enable students to participate in real and practical business and research projects during their studies and thus gain valuable experience.



Tibor Csöndes, Ericsson Hungary Ltd., Hungary

Tibor finished his MSc studies at the Technical University of Budapest in 1996 and defended his PhD in 2002 at the same university. He has been working for Ericsson since 1997. First he became a research fellow, then a test system engineer and a senior specialist in field of testing. In parallel, he participated in ETSI’s standardization work between 1998-1999 and 2008-2009. Since 2009 he is a section manager at the Test Competence Center of Ericsson. He is an honorary associate professor at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Tibor is member of the Hungarian Testing Board (HTB), a regional board of the ISTQB. In 2013 he was the Program Chair of the 1st UCAAT conference in Paris. In 2014 and 2015 Tibor was the Program Chair of HUSTEF conference organized by HTB.


Robert Dankanin, STEST CZ, Czech Republic

Robert has worked in software development and testing for more than 16 years. For 5 years before founding STEST, he specialised in set-up and management of large test centres at Česká spořitelna and DHL IT Services. Prior to that, he worked at Schemantix, Sun Microsystems, Sysis and Vaisala. In 2011 he started CzechTest conference and he was a Conference Chair for 5 years. Robert is founder of the Czech and Slovak Testing Board, where he served as its president for 9 years. He also worked for 2 years as one of four Executives of the ISTQB as its Secretary. Robert holds B.Sc. in Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence.



Martin ChalányMartin Chalány, ESET, Slovakia

Graduate of Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies in SUT Bratislava. From 2005 working in area of software testing. Participated on development and implementation of Slovak State Treasury project (IT analyst and IT tester). Since 2009 member of testing team on Slovak Electronic Tolling System. Currently working as QA Engineeer II for Eset. Experienced user of technologies and applications - database (Sybase, Oracle), bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla), automated testing (HP Quality Center, JMeter), analytical tools (Enterprise Architect MS Visio) as well as graphical tools (Adobe Photoshop). Holder of certificate The ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level and The ISTQB Certified Tester - Advanced Level (Test Management module).


Wojtek JaszczWojtek Jaszcz, Verifone, Poland

Wojciech started his career in 1998 on the position of Junior IT engineer. Over the past dozen of years he played various managerial roles in large international companies from the project manager through Development Manager and QA Director, and the Head of the Software House.

He is co-founder of SJSI (Polish Testing Board) playing twelve years President and V-ce President role of this Organization.

He is engaged in ISTQB for more than 10 years working for Processes Working Group as Vice Chair and the Chair.

Wojciech’s hobby is skiing, climbing, music.


Milota ŠugrováMilota Šugrová, FirstData, Slovakia

Milota started her carrier as a developer in sIT Solutions during her studies of Information Technology at the University of Economics in Bratislava. Later after finishing her studies she moved to the testing team within the same company.

Over the years she worked for large companies as Erste Bank, Slovenska sporitelna, Softec, SkyToll and FirstData.

As a member of Test Expert Group she developed and implemented Factory Acceptance test process in the Erste Bank Group.She worked for Slovenska Sporitelna as a Test manager, Project manager on large migration projects of the core banking systems.

Since 2009 she was responsible for the test management in SkyToll working on Electronic Toll Collection System for Slovakia. Her responsibility covered all the test phases.

Since 2011 she worked for First Data Slovakia as IT Manager for Testing Center for EMEA clients. She is currently working as a Quality manager responsible for the Software Development Life cycle process definition as wells as Test manager for CEE, SEE clients.

She holds The ISTQB Certified tester certificate.
